"AREA 02" is a trusted app/web platform for sneaker and collection trading. It offers a wide range of sneakers for buying, selling, and trading. With secure transactions and verification processes.
Why do we add the functionality “Bid & Sell” into AREA 02?
- The Bid & Sell functionality is an important development goal in this year's company roadmap.
- Reference internationally well-known direct competitors such as StockX and GOAT to confirm the widespread adoption of this feature.
- Teams needs to integrate the Bid & Sell functionality into the interface based on the existing information architecture of AREA 02.
How does "Bid & Sell" value AREA 02 and its users?
- Buyers can use Bid & Sell to put lower bids, while sellers can match the buyers' bidding price.
- Bid & Sell encourages more frequent platform trades and helps to balance market prices.
- Bid & Sell can make the sneaker market more transparent.
The purposes of user journey map:
- Analyzing user flow: It helps analyze the flow of users through the Bid and Sell process on the sneaker trading platform.
- Enhancing conversion rates: It helps identify touchpoints where users drop off or abandon transactions, enabling strategies to improve conversion rates.
- Facilitating collaboration: It foster cross-functional collaboration by providing a shared understanding of user needs and pain points.
To assess the feasibility and prioritize functions outlined in user journey maps, we conduct a meeting with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

- Human resources: With limited team consisting of one frontend engineer and one backend engineer.
